Issu du yiddish – « Les Rues » – Di Gasn Duo est à l’origine un quartet israélien qui propose sa propre interprétation des traditions musicales d’Europe de l’Est, mêlant joie et mélancolie dans ses mélodies.
Leurs nombreuses prestations en Israël et à l’étranger ont suscité une grande variété d’émotions et de réactions humaines. Cette expérience a nourri le désir de documenter et de partager leur musique, décrite comme une création contemporaine israélienne qui préserve les styles musicaux d’Europe de l’Est tout en les renouvelant.
Ainsi, Di Gasn Duo crée un folklore israélien moderne, à la fois enraciné et novateur.
Le groupe a sorti trois albums et plusieurs singles.

From the Yiddish language – ‘The Streets Trio’, is an Israeli Quartet band originally, who bring their own interpretation for Eastern Europe Musical traditions, blending Joy and Sadness to their melodies.
Found by Clarinetist – Gal Klein, and Accordionist -Yanush Hurwitz in 2012.
The many performances of the band in Israel and abroad, aroused a wide variety of human feelings and responses. This led to a desire to document and spread the music of the band, described as an Israeli contemporary creation, maintaining the musical styles of Eastern European cultures, while renewing and refreshing the « old » culture, thus producing new Israeli folklore.
The band has released 3 albums and many singles.
